It's an honor to announce that 「Dopon's Mung Bean Almond Flavor Waffle」 has received the 2023 3-star title from International Taste Institute!!
We often hear people say that the path of gluten-free products will not be an easy one. Indeed, there are lots of challenges to be conquered. In many cases what flour can achieve easily, must be tested again and again with gluten-free recipes, just to find a similar texture and taste. Therefore, it's really a big encouragement for us to receive the ITQI 3-star title. With this certificate, we've gathered more confident to continue on the path of gluten-free and vegan products
Know more about International Taste Institute:
The beauty of this island, are not just the lovely people, but also a bunch of great scenery. Mountains, sea, and abundant resources of agricultural products, all of these portray the shape of Taiwan. Therefore, we come up with the idea of using MIT waffles to tell stories of Formosa island.
Using unpolished rice from Hualien Yinchuan as main ingredient, adding Taitung Luye red oolong, Yunlin Nr.57 sweet potatoes, Pingtung peanuts, Tainan sesame and other agri-products to create the island waffle series.
Not only is our waffle free from preservatives, eggs and milk, but also gluten-free. It turns out that Taiwanese local ingredients, such as rice, red beans, mung beans, sweet potatoes, etc. are all good substitute sources of gluten-free starch.
